Updated Medication Policy

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Please be advised that, effective immediately, the school will no longer provide over-the-counter medications, including Tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen, to students.

If you wish for your child to receive Tylenol or ibuprofen during the school day, you must send the medication from home. The medication must be in its original container and accompanied by a written note that includes:

• Your child’s name

• The medication name

• The dosage to be given

• Your signature

Without a properly labeled bottle and a signed note with dosage instructions, medication will not be administered. The medication will be kept in a locked medicine cabinet at all times.
